"Allah has surely  conferred a great favor on the believers when He raised in their midst a messenger from among themselves who recites to them His verses and makes them pure and teaches them the Book and the Wisdom, while earlier, they were in open error"

It was after a lengthy period of almost 600 years since the last messenger, Nabi Isa (Alaihis Salam) and the world had witnessed an extreme degeneration of humans beings; in terms of their beliefs, practices and morals

It was then in the month of Rabi' al Awwal that this light was born and brought into this world.

"There certainly has come to you from Allah a light (Nur) and a clear Book" [Maidah]

​

The Nur (light) refered to in this verse is none other than Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam)

As Muslims we all have great love and reverence for the Beloved Messenger of Allah, ​Nabi Muhammad (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam). In fact it is an integral part of being a Muslim. Attending such events serve as a great means of maintain and strengthening this love
